STC is a non-profit, community arts organization that presents performing, visual and
literary arts experiences to the people of the Southern Tier. Committed to the economic sustainability of our community through engagement with the arts. STC serves over 30,000 people as well as employs over 400 artists annually. |

Goals and Objectives with STC through our programs:
• Present year-round, innovative & culturally diverse visual, literary & performing arts programs that are affordable, and accessible
• Engage in outreach & collaborative programming for under-served populations
• Develop opportunities for regional visual, literary & performing artists to create new work; develop local audiences & generate income streams
• Present nationally and internationally recognized artists as a means to bring diverse cultures & art forms to this area
• Collaborate in downtown & regional community revitalization through the arts. |

First Night® Binghamton: The Southern Tier’s premiere New Year’s Eve event. Over 10,000 attend this family friendly, alcohol-free community celebration of the arts. First Night Binghamton is now approaching its 15th Anniversary! |

STC Concert Series: A diverse series (primarily free) of acclaimed music, theatre, and dance performances at various indoor & outdoor venues throughout the Southern Tier. Many events have evolved from the much loved 'Binghamton Summer Music Festival'-one of the organizations in which merged with First Night Binghamton to create STC! Familiar events- |

Community Art Making: Art making experiences for community members with artists through our ‘event programs’, who also connect with community groups through the following programs:
-Arts Education artists collaborate with teachers to engage
with works of art, opening doors to imaginative learning and
21st century skill building.
-On The Road outreach art performances and workshops in
unconventional venues for under-served populations. |
